My Repertoire

The precision and seemingly easy deliverance of Frank Sinatra and Harry Connick Jr. serve as a role model for his singing. He enjoys playing the classics of Boogie, Swing and Jazz in his own interpretation in addition to performing his own songs in the same style.

From Boogie Classics to His Own Songs

The basis of Dominik Heins´style is rooted in Boogie with elements of Swing. He enhances his classical Swing repertoire with his own exciting improvisations, which is common practice in Jazz.

His repertoire is comprised of the classics of Boogie-Woogie, Swing and New Orleans Jazz with his own interpretation, to include his own songs written in the same style.

Solo – Or With An Entire Band.

Dominik Heins performs both as a solo pianist/singer and together with other professional musicians. The bands range from a small, intimate Jazz trio to his “Little” Bigband, which offers a lively, unforgettable sound. The Band plays the full repertoire of Swing, Rhythm & Blues and Soul with influences from Boogie and Blues.

Where You Can Find Me

His performances have so far taken him from Germany to France, Denmark, Austria and Canada. His concerts have been aired on both TV and radio throughout Europe. He feels as comfortable playing in a small, intimate atmosphere of a Jazz Club as much as he does while performing on a big stage of a concert hall.
